Happy Thoughts for Thursday

Despite the fact that some icky things have happened this week, I've been in a pretty good mood.  So, things that are awesome:

Weekend plans.  I was really nervous about this weekend, because there was a lot going on and I didn't know what to do.  I talked it over with a friend, and it's all going to work out!

Seeing friends.  Friday I get to see a friend that I haven't seen in a while, and I'm really excited!

Class registration.  There's a new system for class registration this year, and even the administrators are confused.  Despite a little setback at the beginning of registration, I managed to get most of the classes I wanted.  Next semester I have 4 classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and only 2 on Tuesday and Thursday.  I'm hoping that one of those classes can be switched for an online class, but if it doesn't I would be alright.

Reading for fun.  Even though I should have been working I spent every night this week reading The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest.  It was good, but not quite as thrilling as the first two books.  I'm glad that all the ends are tied up, though.  I should do a little work the next two days, but I don't see why I shouldn't start another fun book next week.

Mexican food.  Last night I went to dinner at Puertos with my friend Ashley.  I got to catch up with her, and eat wonderful food.  Puertos is easily the best Mexican restaurant that I've ever been to, which is funny because it's in the middle of Indiana...

Japanese food!  I love food, ok?  On Saturday I got sushi with a bunch of friends, and it was fantastic.  I also had miso and edamame.  For some reason I don't understand Japanese food fills you up with a lot less food than other food does.  It was so delicious, though.  I jokingly hoped to get hit by a school bus on the walk home, just so I could die happy.

Internet tools that help you expand your vocabulary.  I signed up for dictionary.com's word of the day email, and have been spending a lot of time practicing my spelling here.  I like words!
