There's something about pop music from the 80's. Maybe it has something to do with the John Hughes phase I went through, but I love 80's pop. Pat Benatar is one of the best. In addition, I've never read anything negative about her life. This may be because I wasn't alive when she was going through her wild years; or maybe she was able to live a semi-normal life. I hope it was the later. It's always nice to see people be successful without a ton of drama and danger.
She kept it as normal as she could. Pick up a copy of her autobiography, Between A Rock and A Heart Place. It's a story of grit and determination without the "drama" of drugs and other perversions.
