Non-band athletic functions. Last week I went to a football game with some friends. It was the first athletic event that I've been to outside of the band in 7 years. I wasn't expecting it to be as much fun as it was. Of course, the fun might have been due to the company, or to the fact that our football team slaughtered the other one.
Special packages! More on this later, I promise.
Free time. There weren't any classes Monday, so I spent the day knitting and listening to music. It was a good day.
Guitarring. I've been playing a little every day since Saturday, which really isn't that much playing, but it's more than I've ever done before. It's so much easier to practice when I have something specific to work on. I just love making music.
My roommate. Saturday was kind of a bad day, and my roommate took care of me. I'm so lucky.
Making new friends. Between joining the feminism club, starting another new club, and beginning my volunteer job I've come in contact with a lot of new people. I like people, most of the time.
Trombone dinner. I finally made it to a trombone dinner. It was so nice to be around my friends. Trombone players are just really great people.
Weekend! Almost here!
